The Cap3 BC Hydro Projects are divided into 3 phases aiding in the construction of a new substation in the Telkwa area:
1. Site Clearing: Clearing the site of debris to prepare for a transmission realignment.
2. Foundations Construction: constructing the concrete foundations to support the future substation.
3. Access Construction: provision of access for connecting the transmission wires between the newly constructed substation and supply tower.
Kyah was awarded additional work to prepare a nearby site for a new BC Hydro Reflector, with scope of work focused on hand falling, site clearing, controlled burning, aggregate placement, and general site clean-up.
